The sanity check can be averted by setting IMAP_MAILBOX_SANITY_CHECK
in /etc/courier/imapd to 0 and restart Courier IMAP.
I use virtual mailboxes. The owner of the folders are:

Nicos patch of ipp.src is not complete. It doesn't delete the created
tempdir. The attached one corrects two minor things as well (adapted
from the sarge package). I haven't looked at the changes in eperl_sys.c
but I think there exists a similar problem.

OK, after looking some more, I found a bug filed against texinfo which appears
to be something similar. On the other hand, you could also fix it in aalib
by removing the leading space in aalib.texinfo.
