the manual mode n. 3 (/usr/lib/nvidia/bumblebee) made my Xorg server usable again. I don't know if the bug is in some post-install script or if the bumblebee priority (if bumblebee is used) should be higher than nvidia one. But for sure something gone wrong with the alternatives. Thanks -- Alessio
