package was inteded for standalone use only, else it would be called
courier-maildrop...

I have used maildrop from unstable with succes for many months, and with
the same config (based of .forward containing :
|/usr/bin/maildrop -d ${USER}
) maildrop from experimental doesn't deliver at all.
