OK, I must be doing something wrong here. I have installed the python2.4 version of all of the python named dependencies for gdesklets. python2.4 python2.4-gtk2 python2.4-gnome2 python2.4-nautalis python2.4-xml But when I do python2.4 /usr/bin/gdesklets, I get the same result.

OK, I feel silly. I forgot that I had actually compiled gDesklets myself due to the Debian version being out of date. Oddly enough, it will compile just fine, but when I un-installed, and got the apt version, two new dependencies (I think python-xml was one) were installed. So, now gDesklets
