I've just encountered this bug. And the solution is to
`apt-get install guile-1.8`. I suppose there are missing depends on
guile-1.8-libs package...

Today I've upgraded gnome-shell from 2.91.3-2 to 2.91.5-1. And as the
2.91.3-2 version (kinda) worked the 2.91.5-1 version doesn't.

Hello. I've just installed gnome-shell from experimental and now I have
enocuntered the same (I suppose) issue. The screen blinks all the time.
That is - the background is solid (doesn't blink) and desktop icons
blink all the time. And
- just let me know ;-)
