- install debugging symbols for gpm
- install gdb
- start console-screen
- start gpm in non forking mode (-D) and run it under gdb
- send the backtrace, where it crashes

I could 'fix' it by using --omit_journal_replay.
I don't know in which state the filesystem has to be to segfault fsck,
