Could you please check if you have a broken swt symlink or is missing an
swt.jar symlink in /usr/share/java[1]? The broken symlinks are usually
fixed by reinstalling libswt-gtk-3.5-java. Please see #568940[2] for

I believe the "javax" package is optional, so more a that gcj does not
have all the javax extensions.
Note these classes appear to be in libmx4j-java and libjboss-jmx-java;
which may allow it to be used even without openjdk-6 or sun-java6

I noticed that you decided to use some sequence of shell commands to set
JAVA_HOME. I can recommend using "/usr/lib/jvm/default-java" instead
(and build-depending on default-jdk which you are already doing).
/usr/lib/jvm/default-java is a symlink to openjdk6 on all arch

Barry deFreese and I packed the new upstream release ago and I RFS'ed it
in December; I just bumped the RFS earlier today and hopefully I will
get a reply on it soon.

As far as I can tell this was fixed upstream in somewhere between 3.2.2
and 3.4.1 - the amd64 versions do not show this problem in 3.4.1.
