I’ve faced exactly the same problem as originally reported by Andreas. Had to
manually fix the config.txt, after figuring out seven ACT LED blinks meant
unable to find kernel(8).img
It has also affected the reboot process in some way, making the screen go blank
and the ACT LED blink

is a stopper for this.

More news from what I've found.
The upgrade was from libsqlite3-0 3.2.8-1 - 3.3.5-0.1 then trac stopped to
work.
Apparently trac.db is in 3.x format. I'm able to dump and query it using
sqlite3.
sqlite (old version) can't read it, says
