severity 558608 grave
Sorry for not commenting about the bump of severity. I made this bug
grave because in current state of affairs, mod_wsgi is unusable in
sid. I did verify it with 2.8-1 and can reproduce the bug
reproduce the problem. Please make sure that /etc/mdadm/mdadm.conf
is correct.
If you still see the problem, please include the output of
/usr/share/bug/mdadm/script
run as root in another e-mail.

trigger this bug.
Indeed, sorry — restarting does seem to fix things.
And indeed, the problem is the same with the experimental version.
The temporary fix in -2 fixes the issue too, but it does cut off all
existing connections to the httpd, which may not be acceptable.

use is 2.6.32-trunk-686-bigmem and that
the amd64 flavor is only used as a backup kernel, that I am only using
to report this bug.
Can I have a look at /etc/default/mdadm, please?
Did you enable incremental mode?

I just rebuilt 0.9 myself in a i386 sid chroot and after installing
it, I do not see the problems I am seeing with the +b1 BinNMU.

This thus seems to be #554905 and should now be resolved.

Neil, does this sound like a feasible solution to

Thanks,

Does 'grep MODULES /etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf' show most?
If yes, try to add the module name needed for your disk to
/etc/initramfs/modules and run update-initramfs -u.

This is not good but mdadm's initramfs is designed to work anyway.
Once your system boots, it would be good to find out what's going
on. Is there an /etc/mdadm/mdadm.conf there?

I cannot reproduce the problem. I can run checkarray on arrays and
run the mdadm --monitor --oneshot program just fine. I think you
probably experienced a local problem.
Cheers,
