You can try to make tests check optional (iow, detect if you're compiling
on a buildd machine).

that this is not the right fix. The real problem is in dash, not
in darcs. The next upload of dash should fix this problem (there is
nothing to change in darcs's sources, imho). For more details, you can
have a look at #642922.
Can you please test again (with a fixed dash) and report back?

Actually, my patch is wrong. I cancelled my NMU. Here attached a new
patch that looks correct
libibus-dev in
build-dependencies by
libibus-1.0-dev and patching several files. However, I didn't find a way
to *set* a value
for engine-rank, which moved to a private part of the struct. In the
patch, that part is
commented and tagged FIXME.

that.
FYI, I intend to remove this package from testing next monday if it is
not fixed (and if iceweasel can migrate to testing).

Package: mozvoikko
Version: 1.10.0-1
Severity: serious
Tags: sid wheezy
Justification: transition
Hi.
mozvoikko has a conflicts statement that makes it uninstallable with
iceweasel 6.0. The latter is in unstable quite some time and we plan
to move it to testing soon.
Please update your package

No, I didn't. I've JavaScript working as usual. ... and it works fine

Did you desactivate JavaScript?
(FWIW, it always worked here... so I'm a bit surprised).
