Package: qpdfview-pdf-mupdf-plugin
Version: 0.4.18-6
Severity: important

Hi,

opening PDFs using qpdfview-pdf-mupdf-plugin doesn't work for me. When I try to do it, qpdfview displays these error messages in the GUI:

Could not load plug-in for file type 'PDF'!

Could not open 'some.pdf'.

On the console I get the following more helpful messages:

$  LC_ALL=C qpdfview some.pdf
Could not load local plug-in: "/usr/bin/libqpdfview_pdf.so"
"The shared library was not found."
Could not load global plug-in: "/usr/lib/qpdfview/libqpdfview_pdf.so"
"The shared library was not found."
Could not load local plug-in: "/usr/bin/libqpdfview_fitz.so"
"The shared library was not found."
Could not load global plug-in: "/usr/lib/qpdfview/libqpdfview_fitz.so"
"Cannot load library /usr/lib/qpdfview/libqpdfview_fitz.so: (/usr/lib/qpdfview/libqpdfview_fitz.so: undefined symbol: extract_begin)"

Looks to me like libqpdfview_fitz.so is missing some dynamic linking dependency.

Regards
Sven
