Currently libapache2-mod-log-sql-dbi is the only way to log apache2 to pgsql. I am about to start testing it (once I figure out how to configure it to log to pgsql, what the table needs to look like, etc).
So please consider this a vote to keep it (and therefore the dependency on libdbi0) in.
