In the archive stable-proposed-updates and proposed-updates are links to
etch-proposed updates. Yesterday, not having heard back from the admins, I
tried another experiment and uploaded 2.3.17 to proposed-updates. It
hasn't bounced so I apparently guessed right this time.

problem the admins can push it through into Testing before installing it in
