Package: exaile Version: 0.2.9+debian-3 Severity: serious The exaile package is failing to build from source on alpha (and will likely show the same failure on other architectures on rebuild) because it build-depends on python-dev but expects header files to be available for all installed versions of python:
[...] cc -fPIC -O2 `pkg-config --cflags gtk+-2.0 pygtk-2.0` -I/usr/include/python2.5 -c -o mmkeyspy.o mmkeyspy.c mmkeyspy.c:3:20: error: Python.h: No such file or directory [...] A full build log can be found at <http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?pkg=exaile&arch=alpha&ver=0.2.9%2Bdebian-3&stamp=1178740281>. If you are going to build against all supported versions of python, you need to build-depend on python-all-dev, not on python-dev; python-dev only provides headers for the current default python. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
