I think nbsmtp should conflict with mail implementations, which it does
not support. I use bsd-mailx and it does not work.
Even with the conflicts nbsmtp would still be rc buggy
according to the lenny rc policy (
http://release.debian.org/lenny/rc_policy.txt ) .
