Bug#496865: iperf consumes 100% cpu cycles

2008-08-28 Thread Roberto Lumbreras
This bug should be fixed, the discussion is old and outdated as near all of the referred patches are already applied upstream. Could you please tell me how to reproduce the bug? I'm unable to do it in TCP mode, and in UDP mode iperf eats a lot of CPU, in all kernel versions and all iperf

Bug#496865: iperf consumes 100% cpu cycles

2008-08-28 Thread Roberto Lumbreras
severity 496865 normal stop I'm lowering the severity of this bug. iperf uses all idle CPU to measure the bandwidth in UDP mode, but it does not mean that is not usable at all. It is a known issue that is being fixed by iperf authors. Regards, rover -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL
