After upgrading to 0.52 version, cowdancer doesn't work anymore:
# cowbuilder --update

I have the same problem.
--update --no-cowdancer-update works for the update.
But after that I can neither build packages nor login into the
chroot, the errors stays the same:

Followup-For: Bug #520994
Downgrading cowdancer to 0.48 (the version from testing) inside the chroot
works as a workaround. Here's what I did for those who follow this bug
who need a workaround to get their build area working in the meantime:
