Just got feedback from upstream.
0.6 will be released in Mid-April.
This release will be part of the next kubuntu release.
Any idea when squeeze freeze will start?

I can confirm this bug still exists when dbus is turned off.
I tried to look at the patch from upstream, but their bug system is down.
