I'm more certain now that this crash was caused by the copy/paste
problem - I triggered it a second time, but again did not quite manage
to capture the test case... but I am now sure it involved transaction
pasting, and transaction journal mode.

I've been trying to debug this. Upstream has a bug which they claim to
have fixed - the test case they finally came up with at the above URL
throws the same assertion, but gave a different stack
