Michael, Yes that actually worked, downgrading "accountsservice" and "libaccountsservice0" to testing version fixed the problem. In the process I had to reinstall "gnome-session gnome-shell gdm3 gnome-control-center" but so far it all seems to be working great! Thank you for your quick assistan
