Source: python-magcode-core
Version: 1.4.3-1
Severity: serious
Justification: fails to build from source

Builds of python-magcode-core in minimal environments (as on the
autobuilders) have been failing:

   fakeroot debian/rules clean
  dh clean --with python3
     dh_testdir
     debian/rules override_dh_auto_clean
  make[1]: Entering directory `/«PKGBUILDDIR»'
  dh_auto_clean
Can't exec "pyversions": No such file or directory at
/usr/share/perl5/Debian/Debhelper/Buildsystem/python_distutils.pm line 120.
  dh_auto_clean: failed to run pyversions
  make[1]: *** [override_dh_auto_clean] Error 2
  make[1]: Leaving directory `/«PKGBUILDDIR»'
  make: *** [clean] Error 2
dpkg-buildpackage: error: fakeroot debian/rules clean gave error exit status 2

I suspect the simplest fix would be to declare a build dependency on
python, even if you otherwise only need version 3.x.

At any rate, could you please take a look?

Thanks!

Version: 1.4.3-2

Build fixed by including build-dep on python.

Change log entry:

Add python as a build-dep for pyversions so that Debian can build
    package.
