I set the severity back from serious to normal. The error affects only
a few devices, only brings a noticeably defective

According to rc_policy.txt for instance it's grave when:
'makes the package in question unusable or mostly so'
While this is true for libsane-genesys.so, it is false for all the others.
So it depends whether you're part of the majority or not.
