I think there is a conflict between debhelper and xfonts-utils here.
update-fonts-alias requires package.alias to be in
/etc/X11/fonts/X11R7/$dir, while dh_installxfonts still checks
at the old place. That may be why the recent uploader still kept
the file there (to get update-fonts-alias called,
reassign 364530 xfonts-utils
retitle 364530 xfonts-utils: needless heirarchy change under /etc/X11/fonts
