as an llvm team member, I can say that we are already working on removing 3.6
from testing.
Yesterday 3.8 migrated, and today we already opened 4 bugs against
ftp.debian.org to make llvm-defaults migrate too.

Neil,
while working a bit on libguestfs 1.34 the other day, I noticed that
the problem exists there, too.
Whereas installing the sgabios package gives us somewhat meaningful
console output, linuxboot_dma.bin is still missing. I suppose that the
newer qemu version wants to use linuxboot_dma.bin

Hi Chris
It looks like a problem with the wftodm binary. This is an important piece
in the creation of the fonts.
I will only have access to my PC next week Thursday (27 October 2016) to
check the C source code and replicate it on amd64. Please bear with me for
a while.
Thanks for your bug

BTW: If you are looking for some build-depends to blame, "patsy" used to
build ok in stretch on 20161010, so it would be some package that
entered testing between 20161010 and 20161019.
