Suspending is the way I use to workaround the issue, but
sometimes I do need the machine to be running.
My .xsession-errors is HUGE and contains lots of details I don't want
to make public. I can try tomorrow, wiping it and reproducing the
issue, to minimise the amount of noise in that file.

I think the approach of adding a 'depends' to jackd2 is the simplest.
Moving the shared library to the -dev packages doesn't work, because
/usr/bin/jackd2 and netserver.so link against it.
