Hi,
I intend to prepare a NMU for this bug. A patch for the FTBFS problem
is attached, but I plan to also make two other minor changes:
* use $(MAKE) distclean instead of $(MAKE) clean in debian/rules
* remove formatting typo in debian/hex.1

Hi,
when using /etc/pam.d/common-session-noninteractive the package must
depend on libpam-runtime (= 1.0.1-11). See also the announcement on

Hi,
rafl took a first look at this some time ago and suspects this might be
a bug in perl somewhere.
I am also curious if this only affects 1.06 or if also older version
(that is 1.05-1 from testing) also FTBFS. Could some DD try to build
the older version on a IA64 porter machine? (If you are

I prepared a patch for this issue. It passes the test suite and also
the code snippets that failed before. I am not very familiar with XS,
so any comments are welcome.
The patch can be found at [1].

Hi,
I prepared a patch for this issue and plan to upload a NMU once the
changes have been approved by the release team.
The proposed patch can be found in #594654 [1] (it should have been
forwarded here as well, but seems that did not happen).
