I'm using firefox-esr from the Debian repo and Firefox nightly from
Mozilla's website. I experience this issue only in Firefox ESR and
stable from the Debian repos. All browsers are used under Wayland. I
think that it might be an issue with the Debian build.

I experience freezes on Debian testing Bookworm (with mesa 21.2.5).
They happen very often when I open a link in new tab or open a new tab,
enter a URL and press Enter.
The proposed workaround of setting `gfx.x11-egl.force-disabled` to
`true` didn't solve the issue.
