Upstream version 2.08 adds support for libjpeg8.
As a patch, copying the files from 2.08's jpeg/80/ to 2.07's jpeg/
worked for me, without copying any of the makefile changes.

automake is installed then the Makefile.in was
overwritten. The first attachment makes it always use dh_autoreconf.
The second attachment adds the -lpng that is needed for this FTBFS.
