Indeed. The fix for the error is quite simple, add "%s" as first
argument in the printw call. Patch for that attached, although the

It's caused by debhelper 10.6 installing half of /usr in
since version 10.5.1 dh_compress uses perl's own symlink() function
and fails to remove the target beforehand. The attached patch fixes
this for me.
