-Spot 0.1.7 has been released upstream, but is held up going into Debian
until GTK# 2.8.0 is released packaged.
Would you be able to edit the script /usr/bin/f-spot and change the line
mono /usr/lib/f-spot/f-spot.exe $@
to
mono --debug /usr/lib/f-spot/f-spot.exe $@

This is fixed in my local tree, and will be included in the 0.6.12 upload
(hopefully this week). As far as I can tell both mono pnet utilities do the
same thing, and I have just renamed pnet's to al.pnet.
