I confirm the issue too, but I am on unstable.
I found this ticket because I have the same issue after 2 years.
With the version on sid I had the same problem so I tried with the
experimental because is more updated and the one used by debian is very old.
I am getting the same errors reported here and Ifixed it as suggested in
this ticket and
I have the same problem with different packages on debian sid.
There is any workaround to fix it until a new release?
Any updates for this ticket?
THe problem is very annoying I had to search another python editor...

The command for downgrade without problem:
apt-get download libpulse0:i386=5.0-6
apt-get download libpulse0:amd64=5.0-6
dpkg -i ./libpulse0_5.0-6_i386.deb
dpkg -i ./libpulse0_5.0-6_amd64.deb
KDE now works without problem :-)
