This time it happened again when I pressed the Caps Lock key while using
on of the selection tools. Last time it was while saving the file. What
I mean is that the caps lock thing is what seems to be

While on a normal usage of Gimp sometimes it crashes losing all unsaved

Bug #757247 should be merged with this, as it appears that the problem
described has the same origin.
Also, the patch to python-PIL suggested in that bug report fixes this issue.

The current version of basenji in debian testing repos crashes every time I try
to add a new volume to the catalog, rendering the program useless.
I tried deleting the preferences directory
Same error with spanish keyboard: AltGr doesn't works (and at, ntilde,
ccedil)
I had the same trouble, was fixed instaling xkb-data and runing
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
and selecting latam as layout (I'm using latam keyboard).
