Bug#878101: nemo: Nemo segfault on thumbnailing of a moved file over smb
Hello, @Fabio - I upgraded nemo with the patched version from you repo and haven't experienced the bug since then (been a week since the upgrade).
Bug#878101: nemo: Nemo segfault on thumbnailing of a moved file
Hello, The issue was fixed in later versions of nemo (think 3.4+, but not 100% sure), and I think this was the fix, which was already reported here: https://github.com/linuxmint/nemo/commit/b58bea5384436fda9cb6b31f7010f72d3c74e76a#diff-53011b366ae6f19d5347ce06d362d6ca I'll test your patched version and report the results. Can we expect the fix to be pushed to Stretch repos? This bug is really annoying. And man, Debian always has some buggy nemo version in stable branches - with Jessie, I switched to pcmanfm, as I couldn't live with the bugs in nemo. I'm really close to switching to pcmanfm in Stretch too, because of this bug, as nemo is almost unusable.

Forgot to add - this happens with local files too, not only with network files/drives. For me, it happens almost every time I move a file - pictures, videos, PDFs... And after clicking on "Fix" and entering password, after few clicks, Nemo crashes completely. I tried deleting a thumbnail cache, from ./cache/thumbnails and .thumbnails, as I found few people mentioning it fixes things for a while, but for me it returns very quickly, after only few operations).

Hello, Is this going to be fixed in Debian Stable/Stretch? If it is, when we can expect to have the fixed Nemo version? This bug is so annoying... almost making Nemo unusable for moving files around. :\ Thank you!
