Bug#771685: lvm2: system fails to boot when using lvm2 with upstart

2014-12-01 Thread ewew
Package: lvm2
Version: 2.02.95-8
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hello

Recently i haved tested upstart on debian jessie with lvm, but problem with
boot has appeared. The system is unable to boot when lvm volume is created.
It seems that boot can continue if no lvm volume is created, but needed library
can by present in the system. Other solutions on this problem has not been
effective. Even lvm2.conf file from debian does not work.
Debug indicates that upstart is stuck on some kind of signal or something.
Attempt to mount desired lvm volumes from command line was successfull with
init replaced with bash.

Thank You

Have a nice day

Bug#758213: apt-get: Unable to satisfy depedency for debian-installer.

2014-08-15 Thread ewew
Package: apt-get
Version: sid
Severity: serious
Tags: upstream
Justification: important

Hello

Today after apt-get update and installing new updates the debian-installer
has broken depedency. When checking proposed changes i haved found a strange
solution to depedency of the packages. For build is required packages
debiandoc-sgml,
but it cannot be installed back. Maybe it is temporary problem of the unstable
mirror directory.

Hello

When using netboot.tar.gz from debian-installer source i have found a
serious problem in parman. This fault appers when using guided lvm
partitioning.
I also tried to fix this problem in source of parman, but it is complicated to
force apt of debian-installer to use local created packages.

Bug#752267: debian-installer: Possible problem with variable PRESSED in config/common

2014-06-21 Thread ewew
Package: debian-installer
Version: 201403616 and others
Severity: grave

Justification: renders package unusable

Hello

Unfortunatly I Am using pressed for installing debian and I wanted to include
this
file in initrd.gz while building netboot.tar.gz. When trying to build this file
I haved ran
into few issues. It is strange when I place the file in directory from where a
run
fakeroot make build_netboot the build completes without problem. Problem is when
this file is filled with pressed info. Error code of mklibs-readels is
134.Other odd thing is when this file is missing and defined in config/common
make
reports file not found. I haved checked Makefile and thers no problem in that
piece of code. It is only cp commond.
I might be doing something wrong.

Thank You

After many time spend on testing. I have found solution to problem described
in bug reports #749991 and #750244. It is comfirmed that netboot.tar.gz for SID
has been built with wrong kernel modules. After spend time with building my own
netboot.tar.gz i have found the solution to error failed to load ldlinux.c32.
This bug has been reintroduced by the upstrem and causes following error.
This info is available on syslinux mailing lists. I also found this problem
seems to be presend in debian-cd bug #699884, but not tested.
Other info is available on debian-devel mailing lists with subject Possible
kernel modules missmatch in netboot.tar.gz for debian testing.

ldlinux.c32.
This error causes boot to fail. When googling on internet i ran to error report
