I've been looking through the handful of packages which are still using wxwidgets3.0 with an eye to seeing if any can usefully be NMUed to help them reenter testing before the release freeze. That's long enough ago that the code is likely to need changes for wx3.2 so it seems most sensible to address this bug by packaging a recent snapshot from upstream (or convincing upstream to make a release) which would eliminate the wxwidgets dependency. Updating to newer upstream code also seems like probably it's the best way to address most of the other open RC bugs. Cheers, Olly
