to get the include directory and the include file, use:
$ gcc --print-file-name=include/jni.h
/usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.0.2/include/jni.h
$ gcc --print-file-name=include
/usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.0.2/include
however, that directory is in the standard include path.
