English summary: Tokens are needed for things like registering new accounts. A change from JPEG to GIF tokens on GG servers causes ekg to exit() from libjpeg routines (no proper error handling). Though it is possible to disable jpeg parsing, but due to a bug in ekg, no information about token is available then (token file is deleted), rendering /token a "no-op". Since this is an important functionality, I consider this bug RC.
