Furthermore, a php.ini or php5.ini is not present in the etch current
repository !!!.

no, php5 depends on libapache2-mod-php5.  php5 is a metapackage that
ensures one version of the php5 engine (apache/apache2/cgi) is
installed on the system, nothing more.

libapache2-mod-php5 provides a file in /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini.  or
am i missing something?
