Package: bacula Version: 2.4.1-0.1 Severity: critical Tags: upstream Justification: causes serious data loss
Hi, In some cases version 2.4.0 will re-use the tape that's just filled up to continue a backup, which means the current backup as well as any previous backups stored on the tape are lost. See http://bugs.bacula.org/view.php?id=1103 for the upstream bug entry, and recent discussion on the bacula-users mailing list. I had a reproducible error case for this which is not reproducible with version 2.4.1.
