Package: gtimer
Severity: important

Hi,
right after Lenny release libgtk1.2-dev and libglib1.2 will be removed.
Please port gtimer to GTK/glib 2 or request removal given that you wrote this
in 2006:

| Note that GTimer is currently still a GTK 1.x application and should really
| be ported to GTK 2.x. The upstream maintainer replies to e-mail but hasn't
| released a new version in quite a while and isn't really actively doing
| development.

Cheers,
        Moritz

The gtimer package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/382727 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.

Kind regards,

Marco Rodrigues
