I started ekiga a few times with my existing settings (pre-upgrade).
Then I purged my accounts/config with:
$ gconftool --recursive-unset apps/ekiga
and successfully started ekiga
control: reopen -1
This issue still apparently affects unstable, so reopening to track
the fact that it needs fixing there.
