Hi Miguel
I have been battling to get the biber package to build on
people.debian.org but to no avail, and I am no hero with the buildd
machines.
The debdiff on p.d.o was OK, so I have signed your NMU package.
Thank you very much for all your efforts!
When I get back, I will get the changes

Hi Norbert
After some complications I am *finally* able to get into ravel.debian.org.
I hope to get both cjk and biber done before going to work.

Hi all
I have just returned to Singapore from a business trip to Beijing, and
will look into the biber package after my APT upgrade has finished.

Hi Julian
I will use version 0.9.9+release-1 for now, and then use 1.0.0
with pre or rc when biblatex is also upgraded.
If you want to do that, remember to use the ~ syntax: 1.0.0~pre1-1
or similar; that way, 1.0.0-1 will be strictly greater than the pre
version number!

Hello,
I have same problem when using biber, and indeed having biber 0.9.9 and

I consider this problem really important, because I need biber for my

Dear Danai, dear Jan,
How do we go forward with that? It is a bit a pain, I agree.
You two guys should agree on what you are shipping.
Just for completeness: TeX Live 2012 is shipping:
biblatex 1.7
biber 0.9.9
So my tendency is to ship biber 0.9.9 also in Debian, but I leave
it completeley up
