boost1.54 has a bug with BOOST_LCAST_HAS_INT128 and gcc > 4.7 usage. This makes mongodb FTBFS on 32 bit archs. The attached patch comes from upstream and fixes the build problem (tested on i386). Please include it in the next upload. Thanks, Laszlo/GCS
