Thanks for this. Don't cancel your NMU, thanks *a lot* for it. Sadly, the fonts team is still stuck in licensing problems (as far as I can follow) to upload a new version of fontforge in the archive and I suspect that dealing with this issue would not have been a big priority. So, your NMU is very much welcomed and appreciated. Thanks also, for the proper bug handling and merging. I tried to do this, but failed because I did things too hastily.
