Package: libpython-dev
Version: 2.7.11-1
Severity: important

The libpython-dev binary package on i386 contains, besides
i386-linux-gnu-python-config, only i586-linux-gnu-python-config,
but in sid, some packages now call i686-linux-gnu-python-config.

It would be worth having all three of them in the package, or
(preferably) investigating why i386-linux-gnu-python-config is
not the one called independent of what CPU type GCC optimises for.

Same for the other i386 architectures (kfreebsd, hurd, possibly
others which aren’t in Debian or Debian-Ports).

bye,
