works on i386, but segfaults on amd64.

Dear Maintainer,
I took a look at this since I thought it would be a simple `-ltinfo`
fix, but it's more complicated than that.
As it is, the package can't possibly run on 64-bit platforms.
There are a *lot* of dangerous warnings;

and received the error:
