The bugs on mips, mips64el were unrelated – a problem with the proj8.patch (headers now conflicting due to proj.h in proj8 conflicting with hdf-eos5).
This was resolved in 6.6.2-9. Remaining is a definite regression with gcc, or more correctly gfortran ; testing with gfortran 10.2.1-6 from bullseye works ; regression with 10.3.0-10 (and also 11.2.0-5). The generated “Iftran” compiler created from Iftran.f fails to compile correctly. Alastair
