Bug#766298: An update on trust router and release status

Mostly. I'm working through all the moonshot software and updating it to new upstream versions. moonshot-ui has a new version in experimental. Working on moonshot-gss-eap, then will work on moonshot-trust-router. I don't see a reason not to let the new moonshot-trust-router into testing at least for now. Near the freeze I'll coordinate with upstream about whether we're willing to support that version of the protocol for a full Debian release. Bug#766298: An update on trust router and release status
There was a trust router release in October. At one level, this release is probably functional enough that it would be nice to have included in stretch. At another level, there have been enough upstream bugs files that I don't think it's stable enough to include and support for the lifetime of stretch. However, I think we're in a good position to put something into experimental (and then stretch-backports) very soon. Also, now that freeradius 3 is in Debian, we should be able to get that infrastructure enabled. I think shortly after the release of buster, we can close this bug and let moonshot-trust-router migrate into testing.
