it seems that the problem keeps going on with the 5.9.0-1 kernel .
so , same problem , same solution :
for me :

Change /etc/pulse/default.pa to automatically load module-alsa-sink on
boot (module-udev-detect is broken and will not load the alsa-sink
anymore)

i didn't do anything.
Upgrading the system like always.
Suddenly there was no sound available.
removing my .config/pulse and the /tmp/pulse-* followed by killing pulseaudio
