Hi, it's still on my TODO list, though unfortunately I have been rather
 busy with other things lately.

The thing is also: It's not ideal to put it on my own webspace again, nor
to use Phil's VM, since neither is an official Debian machine. So either
way, it would only be a temporary solution. :-|

Where can we find source and documentation about the jigdo search ?

Bug#603107: cdrom: grub does not add other OS to list

2010-11-12 Thread Steve McIntyre
reassign 603107 installation-reports
thanks

Reassigning to the installation-reports package for the d-i folks.

i installed debian 6.0 beta1 kde amd64, and grub found during installation my
4 other OS
however, grub wrote a grub.cfg in the partition on which i installed deb6,
which only contained 2 lines of the deb6 booter

when i ran update-grub, it found again all my 4 other OS, but now it actually
wrote them into grub.cfg, and everything was fine: i could boot any OS

so, the d-i should do what update-grub does, since it works like a charm.

The source code used to be downloadable on the search page...
I've just uploaded it here:
http://atterer.org/sites/atterer/files/jigdo-search-070308.tar.gz
It requires setting up a cronjob to download and pre-process the data.

Cheers,
  Richard
